The aim of the project is to develop a simple, inexpensive, point-of-care mobile
device that can separate a targeted cell group (and / or macromolecules) in the
blood by using nanotechnology and microfluidics. Hematopoietic stem cells in the
bone marrow are capable of forming three groups of cells circulating in the blood
(erythrocytes, leukocytes and platelets). Normally, the number of these cells is at
a certain level. In different diseases (infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases,
cancers, trauma, bleeding), the number of these cells may change. Our team vision is
to solve several problems about blood disease. Within the scope of this project,
firstly, thrombocyte separation in Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) disease is focused
on and prototype has been experienced in laboratory. Project proof of concept of
device with animal experiments has been completed. In vitro clinical trials continue
with severe thrombocytosis who present with clinical problems that need to rapidly
reduce platelet counts, or who are inconvenient to use anticoagulants; to develop a
device that allows the separation of platelets in a simple form at the beginning of
the patient. The manufacturing cost of each chip is low, making it suitable for
emergencies and long-term treatment. The patient's quality of life will not
deteriorate during treatment because the patient is not connected to any device.

FCT(Fast Covid Test)
FCT is designed for Covid 19 for mass screening.
We are developing a platform kit design usable for all infection diseas diagnosis.
The gold standart is PCR test for all infection disease because with PCR test you
can get even one nanometric virus and multiply it and decide what it is. In
hospital, doctors diagnose disease with this method too. It was expensive test and
taking long time even for casual doctor examınation so in many health center this
test applications are limited. Our biomolecule detection system combines molecular
biology and genetic science and IoT( internet of things) systems thanks to software
we can reduce cost, time and manpower and lab requirements. Detection of genetic
materials with diagnostic kit under 1 kg so it is portable and mobile. Providing
diagnosis of virus, bacterias and fungus under 10 min. Portable diagnostic kit may
operate ın every place even airports. No need for specialists, hospitals and
laboratories for kit use. Disease diagnostics to be repeatedly measurable. the
biomolecule detection system is a diagnostic kit and detects from viral genetic
materials. It is fast due to its ability to give results in 10 minutes. FCT offers
multiple testing possibilities arising from simultaneous measurement of H1N1 and
H5N1 diseases. Due to the fact that PCT patent has applies and detects viral genetic
material, it offers a technological competitive advantage from existing systems. It
is also possible to use the diagnostic kit with ease of use, without the need for
hospitals, laboratories and specialists. Since the device is very reusable, it can
follow the treatment. Upto now, research and development stage have completed and
clinical trials continue successfully.
